The 4 C’s of Self Branding

0
The main hub of your online personal brand will be a website or a personal landing page that showcases your expertise, experience, and personality. To build your brand effectively you will have to utilize the 4 C’s. They are Connect, Communicate, Contribute and finally Consistency (more on this later). Next you will need to put some tools in place like a website or landing page. There are plenty of resources and software to help you with this task.
Once you secure your software, here are eight essential elements you need to include on your website. #1: About Me page The “About Me” section is the place to tell your story: how you became interested in your field, how you have evolved into an industry expert in your niche and what level of experience you have. Include a professional photo, and write in the first person, channeling your inner storyteller. Show your personality, too, so people get to know the “real you” behind the personal brand.
#2: Contact Me page Don’t make people guess how to contact you. Put your “Contact Me” information at the top of your website (most people have it on the right upper-hand corner of the homepage). Ideally, include a form on the Contact Me section with fields for name, email address and phone number, plus a large field so visitors can type in their specific question.
#3: Blog There are many ways to incorporate your blog into the website. Some websites have teasers to the latest blog posts right from the homepage. Others have a link to the blog from the top navigation bar. And other websites list the most recent blog post titles on their homepage. Play around and find the best solution for your website design and audience.
#4: Services/Products If you are an entrepreneur, it is essential that you include information on what services and products you offer. Depending on your business, this may include having a shopping cart feature so people can buy straight from your website. Be clear with your pricing and product descriptions so people understand what they are buying.
#5: Testimonials Whenever you have a satisfied customer or a peer who can recommend you, include a testimonial from this person on your website. Depending on the amount of testimonials you gather, consider having an entire page for your testimonials. Another effective technique is to sprinkle your testimonials throughout your website. Include the person’s photo, name, job title and website to further validate the endorsement. For an additional punch, record a video of the person’s testimonial.
#6: As Seen In For more social proof, considering adding a box to your homepage with a list of media outlets where you have appeared. This could include offline publications as well as online ones. If you have links to your media interviews, then also consider adding them to your “About Me” section, or have a separate section for your media spotlights.
#7: Links to social media sites On your homepage, include a list of where you appear on social media. This is usually accomplished by including social media icons that link to your specific account. Consider adding a Facebook Like Box as well to your homepage. Studies have shown that including the Like Box on your website increases page likes because people don’t have to leave your website to like the Facebook page.
#8: Opt-in and free gift If you want to build an email list, you should add a fantastic free gift offer on to your homepage. Then, word your offer so that anyone who enters his name and email address for the gift will receive your weekly newsletter as a bonus. Offering a free gift is a great way to grow your list, plus you can showcase your expertise by sharing your knowledge about your field. Your personal branding website is a crucial element of your overall strategy, so be sure to include these eight important components. One final piece of advice: Write for your customer. Solve their problems, feel their pain points and offer solutions. This will propel your personal branding website even more.
Until next time…YOU are the Brand!

Discovering Y.O.U. Your Own Uniqueness

I’ve spent a lot of years in management with the bulk of my duties being in the area of marketing. Now if you are anything like me you have been approached by many people offering some sort of business opportunity or maybe you are currently involved in a MLM opportunity. For the most part the opportunities offered are fine except many people get frustrated and give up before the ball gets rolling. After studying the industry for years I realized what was the most important ingredient needed in order to succeed in network marketing. A marketing system! By that I mean a system that generates leads and walks the prospects through the opportunity making it easy to grow your downline.

The hottest trend in MLM is “self branding” or “personal branding”. You need to have a marketing system that brands “YOU” as a leader and helps generate an endless supply of leads. You need a system that utilizes lead capture pages, contact manager and auto responder to generate and manage these leads.

Trying to grow your Network Marketing/MLM business can be a hassle and frustrating. (Trust me I know). Especially when the things your upline and company taught you just aren’t working for you. So, what I’m going to do is share with you some tips on how to grow your MLM business.

That way, you will know exactly what you can do now to grow your downline.

The next thing you need in order to grow your downline is to have an effective system in place that will help you and your downline excel. Your system should help you find or attract people who are serious about joining you. This will make it simple to succeed with just about any MLM opportunity.

You probably already know that if you’re planning on making it to the big time with any network marketing business opportunity that you are going to have to advertise at some point.

It’s inevitable you’ll need a constant flow of steady, targeted leads for your program and you’ll have to advertise to generate them. There really isn’t anyway around it so you’ll have to get used to the fact that it’s going to take a little money to get that ball rolling.

However… Advertising your business opportunity doesn’t have to break the bank and when done effectively with the right tools can be a sure fire way to inject super responsive real-time leads into your email inbox.

One of the most common mistakes a network marketing newbie makes is trying to use their replicated affiliate website for advertising campaigns. This poses a major problem if the goal of your advertising campaign is to generate fresh real-time responsive leads for your product or opportunity. Most replicated MLM websites do not have the provisions to actually capture a lead.

Sure… They provide a lot of great information to a prospect… But this poses another problem in itself especially if you’re advertising on the Internet. Prospects don’t want to read a whole pile of information up front just to find out if they are interested or not. You’ll scare them away if you do this. When you bombard someone with information you can create confusion. A confused mind almost always says NO!.

There is a simple solution to this problem and it’s called a Lead Capture Page and lead generation system. This is a short snappy page designed for the task of doing one thing, generating you a fresh real-time lead for your business opportunity. Lead capture pages are simple, attractive one page websites that will have a just a few short paragraphs of text in total.

Lead capture pages aren’t meant to bombard a prospect with information. They are built to provide the prospect with juuust enough information to make them curious and actually entice them into requesting more information through the form on the lead capture page.

Like Robert Kiyosaki says… “Marketingis sales set to a system” And the same rule applies when you’re trying to advertise your Network Marketing opportunity. Don’t bombard a prospect with every single ingredient your product may offer. Don’t confuse the daylights of the poor prospects mind trying to explain your compensation plan either.

The lead capture page should be designed around a few key points about your product or business opportunity. It should be simple for a prospect to read in its entirety in 30 seconds to a minute. You’re looking for the prospect to make the decision on their own to learn more… that’s it.

By simplifying your marketing message with a well designed lead capture page not only will you have more people paying closer attention to your advertisement you’ll also have more prospects submitting their information to your page and becoming fresh real-time leads for your business.

If you’re advertising a well designed lead capture page targeted for the specific market you are going after you can bet that your response rate will be significantly higher. You’ll actually have something tangible from your efforts. A massive list of fresh names waiting to be contacted by you!

What you need is 100% generic, personal/self branding marketing system that will allow you to promote “YOU” first, then your business opportunity second. This allows you to build a relationship with your prospect. The 100% generic personal/self branding marketing system that works well with ANY business opportunity is www.RobertReed.MyiSystem.com

The MyiSystem is a total, lead generation system on steroids! It comes with over 12 lead capture pages, multiple landing pages for up to 3 separate business funnels, built in auto responder, contact manager, leads back office, links to your social pages and article directory.

This generic personal branding marketing system will help you to generate and endless supply of low cost leads to your business opportunity.

The Mark of An Entrepreneur

Most of us understand just how bad the economy has been over the last few years. We’ve had issues with higher food costs, increased gas prices, skyrocketing energy rates, and a shrinking economy. But the worst issue of all is the loss of jobs.

In these tough economic times we can either rise to the challenge or be crushed under the pressure. My biggest concern has been how others have and continue to react to the current conditions in general and the struggling job market in particular.

There have been two primary reactions to the poor job market: (1) acquiring a second job, and (2) going back to school for an additional or advanced degree. Now, I’m all for higher education, BUT the problem with both of these responses is that neither of them addresses the problem…lack of jobs.

Consider this for a moment. If there are too few jobs, how does getting a second job solve the problem? Moreover, how does acquiring a degree help you get a job that may not be available? Aren’t there others out there with the same degree you are trying to get that are struggling in this very job market? Of course there are. Do you have 4 years to wait? Maybe. Does adding more debt solve your problem? Probably not.

So it becomes pretty clear that the solution to a lack of jobs is …Job Creation.

Enter the Age of the Entrepreneur

Entrepreneurs are born out of crisis and are by nature problem solvers. The “crisis” could be personal, or they could strive to solve a problem bigger than themselves. But make no mistake, effective entrepreneurs are indeed problem solvers.¬†As for job creation being a solution to a poor job market, think about the effects one successful business owner can have on the market.

If you start a business and you plan for it to become successful, you will require the assistance of others – either as staff members or consultants.

For instance, you may need a bookkeeper or accountant, or you may need a lawyer at least to form your business entity. You may also need staff members to do paperwork, filing, customer service support, etc. But it does not end there. Consider professional services such as marketing and advertising companies, joint ventures, associations, suppliers and vendors. All of these people would generate an income because of a successful business. Now imagine thousands of successful businesses!

The truth of the matter is that entrepreneurship is the heart of an economy. Simply look at any nation with a struggling economy and you will find that free enterprise is on life support. Is it the solution to end all of our woes? No. There are many challenges that face our economy and it will take strong, smart, moral and financially literate leaders to solve them but it is up to the entrepreneur to relieve financial strife whenever and wherever possible.

The Art of Magnetic Marketing

Attraction Marketing made easy

A lot has been said about magnetic marketing, often referred to as attraction marketing. Regardless of the term you use the goal is the same, it’s about the hunters making themselves the hunted. Let’s face it we (marketers) all want our prospects to come to us. Unfortunately, that can be daunting and/or expensive to say the least.

There are many industries and professions that use attraction/magnetic marketing. Affiliate marketers and Network marketers usually benefit the most from this art form. This has been a phenomenal paradigm shift for most, especially for the network marketer.

Today the top earners in network marketing are the ones who set up a system of generating leads into their primary business. Why is this so important? 97% of new network marketers fail. The reasons are many from no up-line support, poor tools, attitude, fear, laziness, outdated techniques, and on and on. But the biggest of them all is “no leads”.

In other words, newbies can’t sustain their auto-ship long enough to cover that expense with the help of sponsoring new recruits. The leads are just not coming in fast enough. Sound familiar?

What if there was a system that not only generated leads for you but allowed you to generate income simultaneously?

How powerful is that?! Not only is that powerful but it is exactly what the leaders in the industry are doing now.

If you expect to succeed in the network marketing industry you need to position yourself as a leader. Leaders get in position and leverage themselves with systems. Leverage your efforts with a lead generation system and start growing your business today!
